Apa kabar Sobat semua, kali ini saya akan berbagi Tips SEO yang Sobat semua harus ketahui jika ingin mendapatkan traffic yang lumayan banyak dan bisa mendapat tempat utama dalam mesin pencari Google. Secara sederhana SEO atau Search Engine Optimization adalah sebuah proses dimana Sobat membuat halaman web yang lebih ramah bagi mesin pencari agar mendapatkan lalu lintas mesin pencari yang sesuai target. SEO dibagi menjadi 2 bagian utama yaitu on page SEO dan off page SEO yang dapat dibagi lagi menjadi sub bagian atau teknik SEO seperti analisa kata kunci, submit direktori, social bookmark , artikel unik, dll
Berikut ada beberapa Tips SEO untuk pemula yang patut Sobat ketahui :
1. Riset Kata Kunci
Riset kata kunci merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang paling penting dari SEO. Riset kata kunci sangat penting karena para pengunjung web menggantungkan pada kata kunci untuk menemukan website Anda. Pilihlah kata kunci yang tepat untuk artikel di website. Ada banyak alat dan perangkat lunak seperti Google Adwords Keyword Tool, Market Samurai dll yang dapat Anda gunakan untuk menemukan kata kunci yang tepat untuk website Anda.
2. Keyword Density ( Kepadatan Kata Kunci )
Menggunakan kata kunci dalam postingan sebaiknya antara 2-4 %, ini berarti bahwa jika Anda menulis 800 kata artikel maka kata kunci Anda tidak harus diulang lebih dari 3-4 kali dalam setiap 100 kata . Jika kepadatan kata kunci Anda lebih dari 5 % maka Google akan menghukum Anda. Yang harus diingat, Anda menulis artikel untuk pembaca Anda bukan untuk mesin pencari. Jadi Hindari kata kunci yang berulang-ulang.
3 . Optimalkan Halaman Judul & Meta Description
Setiap halaman di situs Web Anda harus memiliki tag judul yang unik dan harus kurang dari 70 karakter. Demikian pula deskripsi Meta posting Anda harus antara 150-160 karakter. Hal ini penting karena mesin pencari akan membaca meta description untuk memahami konten dalam posting Anda.
4 . Hindari Duplikat Konten
Saat ini sebagian besar blogger mengadopsi artikel dari situs-situs lain untuk postingan di blog mereka hanya untuk mendapatkan traffic. Sebagian besar para pemula bahkan tidak memberikan link kepada sumber aslinya. Tapi mereka tidak menyadari bahwa postingan dengan duplikat konten di situs web mereka adalah melanggar ketentuan dari Google & mesin pencari lainnya. Duplikat konten dapat mempengaruhi kredibilitas Web Anda di mata mesin pencari. Jadi jika Anda ingin mendapatkan tempat utama di mesin pencari, Anda harus memposting konten unik di situs Web Anda dan sebisa mungkin hindari duplikat konten.
5. Buat XML Sitemap
Sitemap pada Web berguna sebagai peta petunjuk untuk URL yang ada Web Anda, yang dibuat secara berurutan. Dengan membuat XML Sitemap pada blog, Anda telah membantu mesin pencari untuk lebih dalam lagi mengindeks konten blog Anda. Jika Anda menggunakan WordPress maka Anda dapat menggunakan Google XML Sitemap untuk membuat peta situs Anda.
6. Jangan Gunakan Broken Link
Jika ada banyak link yang tidak berfungsi di website Anda maka itu sangat tidak bagus untuk SEO website Anda, karena akan merugikan mesin pencari serta pembaca Anda . Search engine tidak akan dapat mengindeks situs Anda jika mereka tidak bisa melalui link Anda dan pembaca Anda tidak akan dapat menemukan konten di website Anda. Jika Anda menggunakan WordPress maka Anda dapat menggunakan Broken Link Checker Plugin yang akan memeriksa situs Anda untuk link yang rusak .
7. Meningkatkan Backlinks
Backlinks adalah salah satu faktor yang paling penting yang mempengaruhi peringkat situs di mesin pencari. Jumlah backlink dari PR tinggi membuat kredibilitas blog Anda lebih tinggi. Jadi jika Anda ingin mendapat peringkat tertinggi di mesin pencari, maka Anda harus meluangkan waktu Anda dalam mendapatkan backlink. Cara yang agak mudah adalah dengan melakukan submit artikel, komentar blog, submit ke web direktori dan bisa juga promosi ke sosial media twitter, FB, dll.
8. Gunakan Google Webmaster Dan Google Analytics
Menggunakan Alat Webmaster Google dan Google Analytics akan membantu dalam meningkatkan kinerja situs dalam mesin pencari. Anda dapat menggunakan Google Webmaster Tools untuk menghapus link yang buruk, memperbaiki Error/kesalahan pada website Anda, mengirimkan Sitemaps. Anda juga dapat melihat situs-situs yang terhubung dengan Web Anda dan menemukan peringkat kata kunci situs Anda. Google Analytics dapat digunakan untuk menemukan berapa banyak pengunjung situs, kata kunci yang digunakan oleh pengunjung di mesin pencari, dan jumlah halaman yang mereka kunjungi. Anda juga dapat melihat sumber lalu lintas dan rata-rata waktu yang digunakan pembaca dalam mengunjungi di website Anda.
